FINDFAM
FINDFAM is a professional genealogical research
company. When hiring a professional genealogist, it is important to locate a
genealogist with experience in the region where your ancestors lived. While
many companies claim to have experience in any genealogical location, it is
important to verify that they have researchers prepared and credentialed to
search the claimed areas. Credentials may include Genealogical Certificates,
Certification, Accreditation, or University Degrees in Genealogy or Family
History. You may also want to understand who will be doing the research. Some
companies pay individuals a fraction of the amount you pay for research,
retaining the rest for maintaining the publicity. At FINDFAM, 100% of the money
spent for research is spent paying the researcher, rather than the corporate
president, allowing FINDFAM to keep research fees at a reasonable price. Also,
Family History Centers are available across the United States and
Internationally that offer free assistance for persons interested in starting
their own research. For more information on how to locate a Family History
Center near you, please visit
www.familysearch.org and click on the link for locating a Family History
Center near you.
Although we specialize in German and Southern States research and translating
German, French, Hebrew, Latin, Italian and Spanish documents, we also provide
genealogical research throughout the United States, Canada, England, Scotland,
Ireland, Poland, and France. For other areas of research, please visit one of
the following websites for a qualified individual and carefully consider finding
a researcher with extensive experience in the area of research.
